My goal for this podcast is to make mental health resources accessible and understandable to teens. I invite you to explore the factors that influence your health and incorporate the advice of our experts in expanding the ways you can support your well-being.
I am motivated by the understanding that the holistic support of teens requires an acknowledgment of how various external factors and cultural disparities play a role in one's ability to tackle mental health challenges.
My role as the founder of my community Peer Responders chapter has allowed me to deeply understand many of the challenges teens face and the most beneficial ways to address these issues.
Utilizing my experiences in studying psychology and foundational neuroscience, research, and my mental health journey, I have created a series of ongoing interviews to connect with and meaningfully address the needs of a diverse teen community.
Teen Psych interviews feature in-depth conversations, tackling mental health and brain development from many angles. With contributions from a wide range of experts in the fields of neurology, social work, school and psychoanalytic psychology, cognitive science, nutrition, and exercise physiology, our diverse group of experts will examine mental health for teens in the context of their respective fields and share their insights to inform and inspire our community.
